The Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR) is committed to respecting the personal privacy of individuals who uses the Canadian Common CV (CCV) application. This statement summarizes the privacy policy and practices on the ccv-cvc.ca Web site.

  • All personal information held or collected by the CCV is protected under the federal Privacy Act.
  • CCV occasionally uses "cookies" to track how our users use this site or to determine sites previously visited. The cookies we use do not allow us to identify individuals. They are compiled into statistical information on traffic patterns and are used to assess site efficiency.
